Terms & Conditions

-    The Wedding Scroll    -

1. Scope of Services

  • The Wedding Scroll will manage and post content related to the wedding event across specified social media platforms.

  • Content will be curated, edited, and posting will start within 48-72 hours of the event or content creation, as per the agreement.

  • The Wedding Scroll will create and schedule posts based on the Client’s preferences and event highlights.

  • Complete social media handling starting 20-30 days before the wedding, fully managed by The Wedding Scroll team — covering content planning, posting, and engagement.

  • The scope and volume of content deliverables will be as per the package selected by the Client at the time of booking.

2. Client’s Responsibilities

  • The Client agrees to provide all necessary details, event access, and permissions required for the creation of content (e.g., access to the wedding venue, key moments, and any specific requirements for social media posts).

  • The Client is responsible for ensuring there is a working electrical connection to facilitate content creation (e.g for capturing high-quality videos/photos).

  • The Client understands that all references, song preferences, text ideas, and creative suggestions must be shared before the event. Inputs provided during or after the event may not be incorporated.

  • The Client acknowledges that it is not possible to cover all family members in the reels. The Wedding Scroll will ensure coverage of close family and friends. If any specific individuals need to be featured, this must be communicated in advance.

  • The Client is required to connect with The Wedding Scroll team over a Google Meet call at least once or twice before the wedding to align on the creative direction, preferences, and expectations.

  • The Client must provide a personal SSD on the last day of the event for raw data transfer. If an SSD is not provided, the Client must share a Google Drive link. Failure to do so may result in delays in content delivery.

3. Content Delivery and Ownership

  • Raw photos, videos, and unedited materials will be delivered to the Client as per the package selected.

  • The Client agrees to allow The Wedding Scroll to use the posted content for promotional purposes on their own social media platforms, website, or portfolio.

  • Every reel posted on The Wedding Scroll’s feed will be shared with the client for prior approval before publishing.

  • All reels will be edited in The Wedding Scroll’s signature style. The couple may provide inputs for songs and text overlays before the event.

  • A maximum of 2 revision rounds per reel will be accommodated. The Client is requested to consolidate all change requests and share them together, as revisions will not be processed individually or in multiple rounds.

4. No Refund Policy

  • There will be no refunds for any services rendered once the agreement is signed and work has commenced.

  • The Service Provider is not liable for any unforeseen circumstances or events beyond their control that may affect the delivery of services (e.g., technical failures, weather-related issues, etc.).

5. Content Posting and Timing

  • All content will be posted within 30 days of capture, as long as the Client provides necessary approvals and permissions.

  • The Wedding Scroll cannot be held responsible for delays if the Client does not provide timely approvals or necessary information.

  • In the event of back-to-back events, live stories may not be posted immediately. A gap of 3–4 hours is required between events for backup, editing, and preparation of content.

  • In the event of an after-party or late-night events, live stories and reels may not be posted during or immediately after. Delays in story uploads are expected in such scenarios and are beyond The Wedding Scroll’s control

6. Limitations and Possibilities

  • The Client understands that there are limitations to social media posting due to factors such as internet connectivity, platform restrictions, and technical issues. The Wedding Scroll will do their best to mitigate such issues but cannot guarantee uninterrupted services.

  • Live stories cannot be uploaded in the absence of a stable internet connection at the venue. The Wedding Scroll will not be held responsible for missed live uploads due to poor or unavailable connectivity.

  • The Client agrees that content will be edited and curated in line with the brand and style of The Wedding Scroll, but will take the Client’s preferences into consideration.

7. Permission for Content Use

  • The Client allows The Wedding Scroll to use the photos and videos on the Instagram handle @theweddingscroll.

8. Hospitality for Team Members

  • The Client ensures that meals are arranged for all team members during the wedding events, with breaks accommodated at appropriate times.

9. Travel & Accommodation

  • For shoots outside Bangalore, travel and accommodation expenses will be charged on an actuals basis.

  • All travel costs (to and from the venue, and in-between venues during the event) will be borne by the Client if the creators are not staying on the wedding property.

  • Accommodation must be arranged at the wedding venue or at the nearest available property if rooms are unavailable at the Client’s venue.

  • If the team is not staying at the same property as the couple, cab/transport availability must be ensured by the Client at all times. Any delays in reaching the venue due to unavailability of transport will not be the responsibility of The Wedding Scroll.

10. Payment Terms

  • 50% of the total amount is to be paid at the time of booking to confirm the reservation.

  • The remaining 50% must be cleared before the creators depart from the venue on the last day of the event.

  • In the event that full payment is not received before departure, The Wedding Scroll reserves the right to withhold the posting of all content — including reels, stories, and videos — until 100% of the payment has been cleared by the Client.

  • In the event of any changes to the payment terms, the terms agreed upon in the quotation provided shall prevail.

By proceeding with the booking, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all the above Terms & Conditions laid out by The Wedding Scroll.
